I absolutely loved the warm and inviting ambiance of the hotel's decoration. The cozy sitting areas and beautiful garden made it a perfect place for senior people like myself to relax and unwind. The hotel was easily accessible for us too, with no stairs to climb and wide hallways that were easy to navigate. It truly made me feel right at home.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in planning activities specifically tailored for senior travelers. Though the children working there were friendly, I wish they had provided more information and suggestions on things to do in Nelson that cater to our needs.

The room was huge, with its own dressing room that could easily fit a bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped and the washer and dryer were super convenient. The shower was large and powerful. The staff were lovely and the quiet residential neighborhood was just a short walk to town. The room was beautifully decorated, with the softest bedding I've ever experienced. Each bed had its own nightstand lamp and bedside table, and there were plenty of sockets for charging devices. The garden was a nice oasis with outdoor communal areas, a comfy kitchen, and friendly staff. The facilities were laid out well for privacy, with a private enclosed backyard, pizza oven, and bike use. The well-equipped and clean kitchen and relaxing morning coffee in the garden were mind-blowing.

Our kids absolutely loved the free Wi-Fi, which kept them entertained during downtime between exploring Nelson's amazing attractions. We were grateful for the friendly staff who always made us feel welcome and provided helpful recommendations for family-friendly activities.
My children wanted a play area or a small playground on the premises.
